Ricardo Federico Morín Tortolero’s visual work examines the relationship between structure, perception, and interior experience. Each composition begins as an inquiry into balance: how form can disclose states of clarity and how material precision can create quiet rather than emphasis. Through series such as Triangulation, Metaphors of Silence, and Infinity, he approaches geometry as both discipline and meditation, where abstraction becomes a language of continuity instead of reduction.
His paintings and prints employ rigorous composition, a contained chromatic palette, and a deliberate sense of rhythm to create spaces that invite contemplation. Color, texture, and proportion function not as ends in themselves but as instruments of perception—means for recognizing what remains constant amid transformation. His work reflects a sustained search for correspondence between the visible and the interior, where seeing becomes a way of understanding.
